Blogs in the classroom

Do a reflection post based upon the information you have read and researched on blogs in education. How do you feel blogs can assist you in reaching your students? Provide examples from readings and additional research.

Web logs in the classroom can be used as a great collaborative space. They can make it easier and more interactive to give feedback to student work. Not only can it save time but it is a tool the students are enthusiastic about using. It can make the teaching and learning process more fun and enjoyable. Along with blogs, another great tool that I have just learned about through this class are RSS's. I am excited about learning more about RSS. I believe this tool has the potential of being even more useful then blogs.

  1. I agree, students are enthusiastic about using technology. The collaborative space allows them to get feedback from many readers not just the instructor. By the way I like the slide show on your blog.
